Renting Seasonally In Fountain Hills

Fountain Hills offers year round activities thanks to its generously warm climate. However, despite priding itself on being a four-season city, there are definite swings in the rental market here. Many people escape the Northern chills by renting seasonally in Fountain Hills between October and March.

The key to a successful seasonal rental is doing careful research. While Fountain Hills is overall a very nicely planned community zone, there are views, transport access, and entertainment access points to be considered. You want to find the right balance of being close enough to the central area to enjoy the Community Theater, restaurants, and fountain while still being able to appreciate the mountains.

To begin, it is often helpful to make a list of your must have items. Do you need to be close to a hospital for your health? Is being able to walk out onto a golf course for an easy tee time important to you? What kinds of building structures are you simply not going to accept?

From there, you can break things down further. Are there pets that you would like to bring with? Do you need the rental to be furnished or will you be bringing your own furniture with you? Are you looking for natural light to hit the home in the morning or in the afternoon? Can you handle being in the shadow of a mountain for most of the day?

Once you have your list together, you can then reach out to agents and homeowners in the area. If you have never been to Fountain Hills before and are not sure about the neighborhoods, it is helpful to retain a local agent on the ground. He or she will be able to provide you personalized advice to help you make your decision.

Narrow things down to 3 - 5 properties that you think would work for you, and then get more in depth with your questioning.
